Hello all,

I'm trying to take advantage of the free $25s in adwords money for being a reader of the book, but am unable to get any site related to google adwords to come up. In fact many sites I visit that have adword locations show a nasty server error icon.

Is adwords down? I am also a firefox user. This happens at both work and home.

I just went in fine - is it still down for you?

They said it was going to be down today for updates.

It appears to be up at work, I'll have to try it at home later today. Thanks for the update!

So it appears I am unable to connect to adwords on my home computer. I have cleared the cache, deleted all temporary files, checked firefox, opera, and internet explorer 6 & 7. I have also added google.com to the trusted sites list, still no go. Using internet explorers Diagnose connection problem it said it made connection except ftp, which doesn't make sense if nothing responds at all.

Pinging adwords.google.com results in fast reply packets. I'm at a loss, I've also tried turning off my firewall(default windows xp) and I still cannot connect. I also have a weird issue, related to that I'm guessing.

But any site I visit that has adds supplied by adwords.doubleclick.com or something along those lines shows up as the default firefox browser error page. (Kinda nice not seeing ads) Unfortunately I can't see anything to make my own adds, which is not so good. Any ideas?

Did you clear all your cookies when you cleared the cache? Also try this, shut down...unplug your computer for 15 minutes then reboot.
