Hi Everyone:

My GF has been accepted into an MD program at a University in Grenada. Of course, I'd love to go for the 2 years. My concern is finding work there. I know, I know, that the goal is to have a muse which finances your worldly travels, but this move is going to be coming quick - as in, July.

I'm an accountant and have a fear that there won't be much need in Grenada, which is a 3rd world country. Does anyone have any telecommuting recommendations for me? I know in the book there was something mentioned about being a customer service rep remotely, which would be great.

Any advice would be of huge assistance.

Best,

Jack

Hi Jack.

If you can afford it put out an advert in your local newspaper, with an email address and contact number (have that number divert when you move).

Produce a simple 1 page website detailing your services and signup for google adwords. No one needs to know where you are based and I know other accountants who work from home all over the world, they make good money to. You're in an industry where word of mouth produces more business than simple advertising itself, so why not get a few freebies onboard within reputable circles and start the ball rolling.

I'd also signup to Elance and the other freelance websites.

Go for it dood.. You might never get an opportunity for an adventure like this again.. I wish you all the best of luck and my fingers are crossed for you :)

The goal is not to make a muse and travel to Granada.

You can make your mouse in Granada. Making it is the goal.

You have a far better chance than the rest trying to make a muse in their own countries.

The biggest profits are made when you sell or introduce something from another culture.

For example imagine the profits of mobile networks (invented in USA) when they moved to Granada
