Found a host that allows me to host up to 50 domains on 1 very inexpensive hosting plan, and I wondered what site is the cheapest reputable site to register domain names?
Lowest I've found is about 6.99, but I'm sure there are some for less somewhere.

just an update, I found that yahoo will let you register 1 domain for 1.99 with a new business account. Still doesn't help those of us that use multiple domains.

I believe the price the registrar pays for domains is like $5 something, so if you're less than that, it's probably promotional or they somehow squeeze more out of people.
I like domainsite.com, which is $6.99 ..
You should probably consider why you want a lot of domains and if it's cost effective. Google doesn't like new domains, so, there is not a great advantage to having a many unused domains.
My host allows unlimited domains, but, I only keep the 10 or so that I actually use.

Well, the reason I have lots of domains is for testing purposes and for having a multitude of different projects. I'm trying to think down the road and register what I think I'll need by then.
Besides, if you want .com and .org for a few domains, it adds up.
Nothing wrong with trying to find a bargain.
