Everybody list your muse w/ a short description of what it does, just out of curiosity.
Right now my only one is a sleeping mask you wear that gives you lucid dreams.

I don’t think we are allowed to post links to our sites here, I could be wrong

I see no links... ;)
1) Print Studio
I found a company who offer a very good price on printed stationery, business cards, leaflets flyers etc who also deliver in a similar fashion to dropshipping.
I knocked up a site over a weekend and now that can receive orders through google checkout
I've not promoted the site AT ALL yet as I've not had the time so it's on the backburner for a while
(Major upselling opportunity for this when my 'main' muse goes live though)
2) e-Ticketing Solution
Without giving too much away, my MAIN muse that I've been working on since January is going to provide an eTicketing solution to club nights and events promoters in the UK.
There are companies offering similar services at the moment but they all have at least one major shortfall. My site is specifically aimed at the clubbing and events industry and by doing this, I'm able to offer better industry-specific value to the promoters.
Even when floating the idea past major promoters earlier in the year, there was a large amount of interest and I'm hoping (quietly confident) that it's going to be a big success.
I've got 3 friends working as joint-venture partners with me on this one each running a region within the UK and taking a share of the profits.
I'm predicting development will be complete within 2 weeks now for promoters to get used to the layout and interface, the the site going live for sales 2 weeks later
I'll keep people updated if they're interested
Cheers
Jon :)

90 Day Pianist, an eBook that teaches you how to play the piano without having to read music. It has links to audio files and a few visuals that display what you need to play.

I have a .txt document with all my wild schemes:
-Sell barebones, laptops, or computer hardware online (need a website and shopping cart)
-Use Craigslist and stuff to look for Website design jobs, which you outsource to B2kcorp (FAILED MISERABLY)
-"Superfood supplement"
-Own brand of premium, high-end tool for the elderly
-Novadreamer/Rem-Dreamer (lucid-dreaming mask) replacement.
-Site that offers a one-stop-shop for a certain music niche
-A porn site
I just copied and pasted it without editing, so it has all my notes and thoughts included

It's okay to post a link to your muse for critique purposes. I think the poster here wanted a list of what people are doing, I don't mind if you link in your muse. "No selling" is the message from Tim - which would please no blatant marketing to the board members for something you already have or affilite links, etc. Thanks!

GiftEscapes - sells gift certificates that can be used at spas and B&Bs. This is fully functional, just need to invest some time promoting it.
"Extreme Fundraising Success Program" - just launched a test web site; includes a free, no risk, no obligation 7-part mini-course sharing some of my fundraising "secrets".
Cheers,

I consider it kind of a "pre-muse" since I don't own the property (my parents do) but due get a cut if someone were to rent.
I just liked the idea of building my FIRST real website and my FIRST PPC campaign in hopes of learning and perfecting these while I try to develop a more suitable muse...:)
I also set up www.youtubeguitarblog.com to try and understand how internet traffic works and how to promote my site using totally free methods. I have used videos, articles, blog posts, signatures, etc and I have put some clickbank stuff in there that I have personally used in my guitar learning adventure. (I have received a few clicks, but no sales)
Shane gave me the idea for the blog (He is my 4hww mentor) :D
Honestly, I feel that I am learning alot and actually doing something besides talking about having a 4hww type lifestyle. Although I am NO WHERE close, I do feel like I have taken the right steps to learn and apply the principles from the book. Hopefully one day soon!!

~James Below a quote from your blog which I might blog as well.
"Also… Plan out your entire website (including having all your content written out already) before you start pumping money out on building a site – I can’t tell you how much money I wasted “jumping the gun” when I first started out with IM"
Isn't that the truth? I guess people who start an internet business don't have a business plan because they don't always go through a bank. Most brick and mortar businesses take the time because they want the loan.

one is an online appointment system similar to opentable for physicians. Physicians manage their appointments online, and patients can book appt. times in standard office intervals. revenue is subscription based monthly for docs. Patients have abilty to rate doctors on several factors. Additional revenue from site traffice, linking to major insurers ( HMO and PPO's ) and affiliates

I am working on an e-course for organic meal-planning for Type 1 Diabetics, but I may try a physical product while I am working on the e-course such as developing/private labelling a line organic hair and skin products for people African-American people. I have already formed a company called Oshun's Way, LLC and developed a business plan. Now I need to actually get the business up and going.

Jeff...
I like your site and the video is definitely a good idea too
How much research into your product did you do before putting all that work into the site etc though, as they sell on eBay here in the UK for £35!

1. Flexi-time support manager for established web businesses, work from anywhere. Steady salary, been doing this for a few years. I am now travelling while working.
2. New online "muse" - too early to say much but great potential for high rewards/low hours. This may replace No. 1 (fingers crossed).
3. I used to sell an info product on eBay. Had everything highly automated and was making the same as my salary but in 30-45 mins/day average. eBay decided it broke their rules and haven't found a product that sells as well or even covered the listing costs, but may look again.
Good luck to all!

Alright well without giving too much away I had focused on the health supplement market because I've had a LOT of experience with it. However I realized even if I had a genuinely good product, which I did, (for weight loss/energy) the market was too flooded for me to get a foot hold. However I found a small niche in the health market that is basically forgotten about and I'm pretty excited to start testing response via craigslist and ebay.
I'm also working on an Expert Advisor. Basically a program that buys and sells currencies on the foreign exchange for you.

Well I had a muse before th book, but have decided to expand on it more to increase income for additional adventures. I run www.ministyle.com (http://www.ministyle.com) an online site about minitrucks and sport compact cars. I have sold shirts from this site with the help of promoters at shows.
What is next is a series of DVD's, the video is shot already (did while shooting stills) and being edited as we speak. The beauty of this is that the audience is built in already from the thousands of daily visitors. With the info from the book I can do the additional things I want to do.

I'm adding another ebook product to webpreppro. It's an ebook on writing press releases from a writer who owns a PR Firm. I've not put it up yet because I've not finished it. But it's as good as I thought so far and I have resell rights. Free press really builds huge credibility.
The third, one, the sports site is actually doing pretty darn well since I revamped it last month. I'm getting anywhere from 90-300 uniques per day. Not hauling in big bucks but about $75-$110 in google per month and less in affiliates. But I'm ranking for some popular keywords that didn't look popular in the SEO tool. But I'm number one for several of them in Yahoo and some in Google. It's amazing what the sports med people look up. They plug in some technical terms and some stuff was just guessing but it's working out. I just added 4 new articles. I like to have pictures and do it right so it's not fast. I also need to define some of the medical jargon and add more photos.
All of a sudden I've found doctor interest in submitting articles. And a local Certified athletic trainer is going to star in some videos on sideline taping methods. My son has done some of the medical drawings (on the shin splints page) and I'll be adding a nicer review section. Someone here had suggested JR Reviews from Joomla so I'm just waiting for the guy to do a version for the new Joomla 5.1.
I'll add the reviews I have in that format in more detail and get some of the pa-cs and PTs to do reviews. I don't know if I'll sell straight out or do affiliate marketing. I plan on starting with affiliate marketing and if I can get some suppliers I might go that route down the road. But so far I can't find the type of products I want. They aren't really mainstream. Affiliate would be easier but there may be some other resources. For instance, if some of my reviewers want to develop a product, they can sell it off the site and I'll take a 20% cut and they get the rest. I'd use an affiliate manager and cart for that.

Yes – most people start a website not thinking that it is an actual business. A website is fundamentally no different than opening a store in a mall, you have a budget, advertising/marketing plan, PR, accounting, ect, ect..
But you would be surprised how many people start a website without writing down a single sentence outlining what they are planning to do.
