Hiya

I finally set up my muse. Since I couldn't afford making a website and marketing, I just decided to sell the product on Amazon.com Check it out at http://www.amazon.com/REM-Dreamer-Lucid-Dreaming-Sleeping-Mask/dp/B0016A8I8Y and let me what you think of the product or anything else.

Scientology people are going to love you and this product. It looks pretty cool.

Does it work? I've wanted to lucid dream for years now. :(

I think a product like that would benefit from a website. :)

Good luck.

PS: Are you dropshipping it?

It works, its based on the fact that you can notice external stimuli in your dreams, ie if someone splashes water on your face, you might be swimming in the dream...the trick is to eventually realize that it's a lucid dream.

I know, I really want to make a website but I'm short on $. If I manage to sell a few I will definitely do that.

Yes, I'm dropshipping it.

Well it looks cool, but there is no way I would spend $300 bucks on it. $50 maybe. Just my thought

Anyways, I might can help you build a website on my new mac if you are interested. PM me if you are

I took your advice and lowered the price..

About the website thing, thanks I appreciate it, but for now I am happy selling on Amazon...I get a nice amount of sales per week and everything is going well. But who knows, if I ever want to expand in the future I'll definitely PM you!

I've been thinking of putting something up on amazon. Did you choose marketplace?

Which one of these? (http://www.amazon.com/Money-home-page/b/ref=gw_m_b_si?ie=UTF8&node=3309511)

I'm not sure, however, that I can sell an eTutorial on amazon. I think they require you to make it in kindle format which I hear is not a fun process.

Yep, chose the marketplace because I only had one product to sell, plus the Webstore is like $100/month (as opposed to the marketplace which is $40/month)

I don't think they allow you to sell eTuts on Kindle yet, for now Kindle only allows books

The eTutorial isn't handheld friendly anyway. It's more interactive. It just wouldn't fit. What kind of cut do they take in a sale, if any?

That's great to hear that!! I looked up your product on amazon and still saw the same price though....hmmm.

Well I think a website for your product could do wonders with it. A nice presentation and layout would really help you. Plus I would love to work on my website making skills and PPC campaigns :)

Just let me know....

Can you talk through your process and experience with getting your product listed on Amazon?

I like the product idea, very niche driven. You could probably do some article and you tube promotion of the product and your sales would go through the roof. I too think the price is a little high, but thats just me. I would highly recommend that you build out a squidoo lens on this product and write a couple articles on ezinearticles, even place some ads on usfreeads and see what happens. These cost nothing but your time and could really lift the exposure level of your product.

Good luck!

The process itself is pretty self-explanatory and painless for the most part. Go to http://www.amazonservices.com/promerchant/ and sign up (costs $40/month). After that you go into your seller profile and click on Add Product. For me, the trickiest part was coming up with a UPC number since my item is the only one if its kind on Amazon. I just made something random up, hopefully I won't get it trouble for it. However if what you're selling already exists most of the stuff (description, reviews, etc) is done for you - just enter the price and you're set.

Hope this helps

Yes, the price is kinda high (used to be even higher) but I myself didn't create this product, someone in Poland makes it and gives me a 30% discount. I asked him for a higher discount but according to him soldering, circuit board equipment is expensive there, plus he gets charged huge VAT fees (22%) and PIT (19%) - he also does the dropshipping for me. However I really like your advice, this weekend I'm gonna sit down and start doing what you said :)

I tried to get in touch with people who could make one for me on elance, but the starting price was around $1000 :(

Hiya,

I've never written a sales copy before, but I would appreciate feedback. I submitted this article to ezinearticles and Squidoo as suggested...

http://www.squidoo.com/clearlylucid

Does this convince you enough to spend dough on the product? What should I improve?
