hi there,

I noticed many of you have questions on some of the 'techy' type stuff related to muse creation--how to customize WP themes, stuff with adsense code, etc.

How valuable would you find an information product that essentially gives you step by step (perhaps even videos?) that covers these topics to help you quickly get your sites up and running?

No trying to sell you here...just curious if there's potential for a product here. There may not be enough demand to justify such a 'customized' package/course.

I'm a web designer/developer, with SEO expertise, too, and sometimes I struggle to objectively analyze which of my skills people would pay for in an information-type product :) I take what I do/know for granted, I think.

That's a pretty decent idea I'd think. Although there is already plenty of information on the subject out there, and various how-to's, as has been said around these forums before, people will buy something it it makes their lives easier (not having to search around for the right information) and if you can sell the benefits appropriately.

It's probably worth some Adword-test-marketing, if not going directly to an initial screen-cast. There's already various other such screen-cast howto's out there, like the RubyOnRails based http://peepcast.com, and for other, less technical topics - at least one of which started out as a video podcast.

I did the presentation training offerred from my company and still have not a clue. So a walk through instruction on
Bring the database up
The 101 command lines that make the database run
What I should expect
Common problems etc
I would pay for a video that walks me through a SQL db. I paid allot and still have not a clue as to what is up or down with the db:cool:

Thank you for your answers!

I recall, before I knew it well, the sql stuff was pretty intimidating to me. I was terrified of losing all my info or making a client's site pooched. ;) Once i learned some ins and outs and got more comfortable with it, a lot of my fears went away and I was able to do some nice data manipulation, too.
