  1. This is going to be awesome. Can’t wait to see the show! I’m particularly curious about the Poker part.

As a reminder to other people who are not living in the US, Tim Ferriss’ show will be available for download on iTunes :-)

  3. Great concept for a guy like Tim Ferriss!:) Being one of those fellas without TV I naturally hope some of this will be put out online eventually? If so I`ll be sure to watch it and recommend it to everyone. Careful with those wild experiments now I hope? Wishing a great day to you all!

  4. Love your stuff. Sadly your videos are not android compliant -get audio, no video. You might want to get your people to check into that as according to the Daily Mail in August of this year, Android holds 79 percent of the market as opposed to iPhone which has 13%. 5. Looks awesome! Like others have commented before me, I gave up TV years ago (in part thinks to The 4 Hour Workweek). Please make your show available online so your biggest supporters can watch. We buy your books as gifts for friends, we fallow you on the daily show and read everything you put out. Do not forget about us.

  7. At first I thought this might be too similar to the other shows out there and get lost in the rubble. But there is definitely a unique element to it, but that’s just the trailer :).

Learning things that people have always wanted to learn, overcoming fear and having a shitload of fun.

    Congrats Tim!

  8. Congratulations! I can’t wait to see it.

You taught me how to build a muse business, which enabled me to write a best-selling book about my passion: design.

One of these days I’ll have to teach you how to design. Might not be fast-action enough for the show, though ;)

  9. Looks awesome! Hopefully us cable cutters will be able to find it somewhere like Hulu or Netflix??? Note: I haven’t had cable/satellite TV since 2002.

  10. As a lifelong drummer and surfer, you have my attention. The trailer suggests that tube-riding and drumming (under the tutelage of percussion master Stewart Copeland) are to be “demystified”. Let’s see what ya got, Tim.

  11. Hey Tim. Will this be available on Amazon for subscription every week? I would subscribe if that was the case. It seems like a good avenue to increase revenue and maximize your viewership.

  13. Dude, congratulations on the television show. Not surprised it’s come to this for you.

If meta-learning is your biggest goal, mine for right now is to be the best automater. The more I automate, the more excited I get about whatever it is I’m working on. Meta-learning and automating seem to go hand-in-hand, no?

  14. Sweet!

The rally car racing crash-test dummy (hopefully not literally) is one of the things I’ve been hoping for.

Any chance you’ll be doing anything on a closed track with racing slicks (which are very challenging to master due to their very narrow performance window)?

How about some Shaolin-style spear balancing?

Dying to see the first episode, not that I want you to die though :)

    Best of luck!

  15. You continue to inspire me.

I recently re-read 4HWW AND 4HB at least the parts I wanted to tackle first. Meta-learning is something I truly desire to be able to do in a few specific areas to greatly improve my life.

Thank you for breaking it down for us. I can’t wait for the show to air.

  16. Cannot wait for this to air! I was a fan of Trial by Fire and was sad that nothing ever came of it. I know this one will go further, and I can’t wait to learn some new skills. That’s awesome that it will be available on iTunes, as I never have access to TV.

  17. Hi Tim,
My name is Nelvin I live in Sydney Australia,
I would like to meet you in person.
I need it to be because you want to and not because I bought a VIP ticket to your event or if I donate to your charity

  19. Great, will check this out on Itunes for sure! As a sidenote: Today I made dinner for 16 people and used the “Roast chicken Hareiller” recipe from 4 hour chef with total success, quite simply the meal of the year!:D Never thought a bird could be that tasty…

  20. Hi Tim, I purchased your book last year for Amazon Kindle after seeing it mentioned on another blog. For the last 4 months I’ve been my own boss. I spent 6 months building up my business in the background, and then resigned from my full time role. I won’t pretend that I am anywhere near having a 4 hour work week yet, and not entirely sure if I will due to the nature of the business I’ve gone into (web marketing/seo)… however, I am using some of the principles you outlined and your book was one of the influencing factors that gave me the inspiration to take the leap as am typically a very cautious person. Not so much now. All the best – thanks!

  21. Congrats Tim, you rock! I can’t wait! I know you cater for a more masculine audience. FYI, there are girls out there that LOVE what you do too…I would love to see some kick-hinie girls represented! Don’t you always say, find out what’s missing and fill in the niche? Just a thought. Cheers, Beca!

  22. I’m genuinely excited about this and ’til this day I still haven’t that forgotten that first time when I read that excitement is a far better emotion to strive for than happiness and all its loose definitions. So… YAY!

It looks like this one has the graphics and looks that I was hoping for when the pilot of Trial By Fire was released.

Have fun :) This will be amazing and you know it!

  23. Shut up and take my Canadian money…eh?

    Hi Tim,

Loved the free preview, really tried to get it through iTunes but its nowhere to be found on the Canadian iTunes system. I hope this will be addressed because we prefer iTunes to manage all our digital content and it seems you feel that way too.

Please, ensure that I can give you all the loonies you deserve.

    Best,

    Terry

    • Right on!

TFX is not showing up in the Australian iTunes Store. Apple has walled gardens within walled gardens – way not cool!

Tim, can we please get this into all the non-US iTunes stores.

      Thanks,

      Mike
